Camp Blog (Please click to read his first post)

Updated: Jul 10, 2021

This will be a new space where Matthew will be posting his Camp observations. This is all new to us, Mathews insides are worth waiting for

The First Question I ask Matthew: WHAT MAKES ZACHARY'S CAMP SPECIAL?

First of all, Zachary’s camp was named after my friend Zachary who also had autism like me. It is special because we are always reminded of Zachary’s memories at Teamworks Dufferin camp.

It is also special coming to Zachary’s camp because there are different activities to do everyday. We start off riding in a big yellow bus driven by Antje. Then off we go to places such as wasaga beach, st. Jacob’s market, lynbrook golf, centre island, rogers centre for baseball games, community swimming pools and horse farms.

The most special reason why i love this camp is because we are all treated with respect by all the staff. We are assisted to be successful and to enjoy our time at the camp. I always come home tired and happy i had Fun. I look forward to this year’s summer camp despite of all the COVID19 protocols and restrictions we have to follow.
